Wild wolf puppy food

Tonight I got a bone!

I frequently get chicken necks, and sometimes dried bones, but I don't often get fresh lamb bones. My human says that most butchers only have them bagged up in large bags, and she doesn't have room to freeze them. But now she's working in the city again, she walks past the Queen Victoria Market every day, so it's easier to get just a couple of bones at a time.

As soon as she gave it to me, my primal wolfy instincts leapt to the fore, and the first thing I did, right after smacking my lips, was look for somewhere to bury it.

I considered burying it under the bed, or on the spare blanket on the floor, or in my toy box, or beside the bike. I eventually decided the best place for it would be on my blue bed.

Do you think it's comfortable?

Um. Not sure what to do now.

Perhaps the bone would be more comfortable on this side of the bed.

Now... if I can just get the angle right...

That's better, we're both more comfortable on my blankie.

Of course, after I chewed and chewed it I had to find somewhere secret to bury it. I found a really good spot, too (not anywhere near the toy box, by the way, in case you were thinking of trying to steal it).

Hi Sasha - thanks for sending the puppy kisses, we're quite overcome!

We too find that food always tastes better when you've made it comfy - we like to lie our chewsticks out along our bed for that very reason! We've never had a chop bone but after reading your post we want one!

Hmmm... chop bone... that sounds like it would have a lot more meat on it than the one I got - yummy... as long as it's raw, of course!

Oh, and I'd love to see how you make your chewsticks comfy - perhaps I can learn to make mine more comfy, too!
