Stealth puppy

My human says I can bend the space-time continuum, because when she's doing housework she keeps coming across me lying on the floor, in the same position but in a different location every time. Sometimes she will walk past me in one room, and when she gets to the next room, I'm already lying there.

I'm also an expert at locating socks. I can identify and extract a brand new, never-worn sock from a pile of clean washing in almost no time at all.

And I ruthlessly hunt down and kill tissues wherever they may lurk.

Hi Sasha - greetings from two fans in wet and snowy England! We're JD (that stands for 'Just Dog', as my human says I'm very laid back in a 'whatever dude' kind of way) and my little brother Max, who is slightly madder - I'm very mature you know! We love reading your blog - we're thinking about getting our own going. Our human writes one - we were introduced here...

...but we think we could write a much more interesting one!

We just wanted to ask - how old were you when you got your first trim? You look so cute - I know that if we had a similiar haircut we could wrap our human round our little paws even more than we do now!! We'll be 4 months old in a few days time and just wondered if that might be a little young - a few pals have suggested we wait until we're 6 months you see....

Anyway - we love your blog and are avid fans so are sending our love your way - JD and Max - xx.

Hello JD and Max - I was 10 1/2 weeks old when I got my first cut, just in time to look fabulous for Christmas. I wasn't too sure about it, but we went back to where I was born, and the breeder did it, and in the end I got lots of treats, so it was fine.

It's only been about 6 weeks since then, but I'm starting to look a little shaggy, and it's been 43 degrees here in Melbourne, so my human thinks it's about time I had another cut to keep cool. You might have to ask your human to get you a coat if you get a cut with all that snow about, though.

We must be about the same age, I got my final injection this week, so we'll be able to go for a walk in the park soon - I can't wait!

Hi Sasha - thanks for your reply, our human has now booked us in for a trim next week! I know we're going to look so handsome - I can't wait! I think the three of us are very close in age - we've been doing the rounds on the walking circuit for just over a week now and we love it. We have two waxed jackets on order to keep us snug, they're due to arrive this weekend - we're going to look so adorable! Obviously, being the mature, laid-back puppy that I am I lead by example when we go out on our walks and I wait patiently whilst my human tries to distract Max from barking at everything that moves! Going out is now our favourite thing - it's even better than treats and tummy rubs, it's just sooo exciting! We live by the sea - we've tried to stop it from invading our beach space but it just ignores us no matter how much we jump on it, but that just makes us more determined to let it know who's boss - us! Before we go we'd just like to share with you that the really, really great thing about daily walks outside is how well - and how long - you get to sleep afterwards, it's brilliant! We look forward to hearing about your adventures when you go out - your blog is fabulous and you are a natural writer and we can tell that you're such a good puppy (just like us!) BFN - JD and Max
